why "i" and other insights

i'm a twenty-something girl with a heart that sometimes just itches to get words down on a page. i love snow, watching soccer, golden retrievers, reading good books with a cup of hot chocolate, Job and Lamentations, Jon Foreman and Switchfoot, Soren Kierkegaard and C.S. Lewis, Elizabeth Camden and Jenny B. Jones.

The title of this blog came from the fact that i've had a hard time sitting down and just writing because i wanted it to always be the "perfect blog post" or the "perfect story". i've finally realized that sometimes the words just need to get down on the page - and sometimes they'll be helpful and other times they'll be complete nonsense, and that is totally okay.
